Hansjorg SchmidtHansjorg has lit theatre shows for 12 years. He works regularly with a handful of directors, and particularly enjoys exploring and developing theatre lighting as part of artistic collaboration and ensemble work, enabling lighting to become an integral and organic part of the production. Hansjorg has build up a strong portfolio for lighting both new and established musicals through his work with directors Phil Willmott and Clive Paget, and the development of new writing and devised work through collaborating regularly with David Harradine, Anna Furse, and Tim Luscombe.
His theatre work has been seen, in London, at The Venue, the New Players Theatre, the Arts Theatre, the Lyric Hammersmith, the Finborough Theatre, the Southwark Playhouse, the Bridewell, the Drill Hall, and at The Kings Head; and away from London at the Liverpool Playhouse, the Everyman Theatre Liverpool, Richmond Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford, Salisbury Playhouse, Watford Palace Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse and the New Wolsey in Ipswich.
